Education for Ministry (EfM)

Every baptized person is called to ministry. Education for Ministry (EFM) provides people with the education to carry out that ministry. Over the course of four years, participants study the entire sweep of Christian tradition from the earliest period to the present. The first year of EfM covers the Old Testament, the second year covers the New Testament, the third year focuses on church history and the fourth year explores contemporary theological issues.
Henry Davis and Deborah Johnson Seabrook currently lead an EFM group at St. Philip's. For more information about EFM, call the church office at 321-1266 or visit efm.sewanee.edu.
