Breaking the cycle of homelessness

CARITAS stands for Congregations Around Richmond Involved To Assure Shelter.

There are opportunities to serve the homeless as we provide shelter and food at St. Philip’s for one week each year, typically in September.

Volunteer roles include:

• CARITAS Coordinator
• Dinner Hosts
• Overnight Hosts
• Set-up/break down sleeping cots
